Kamine Construction Law

Bernard Kamine presented with the biennial Los Angeles County Bar Association award for outstanding achievement in construction law.

Founded in 1976, KAMINE LAW PC is a construction law firm whose practice focuses on helping contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, owners, design professionals, and their sureties avoid and resolve disputes on construction projects.  Clients are assisted in all stages of construction:  planning, design, bidding, project management, close-out and dispute resolution.  The firm has extensive experience with state and local government projects as well as private work and public utility projects.

KAMINE LAW PC believes the practice of law is a profession, not merely an occupation.  The firm continually works to improve the law, the construction industry and our community.  Attorneys and staff actively participate in legal, community and industry associations, author articles in legal and construction industry publications and work on legislation affecting the construction industry.  The firm regularly files amicus (friend of the court) briefs in important construction industry cases, and was commended for its public service in California State Assembly Members Resolution No. 136 (11/01/11)

KAMINE LAW PC attorneys frequently give lectures and seminars on litigation and construction industry problems for groups such as California Continuing Education of the Bar, American Arbitration Association, Engineering Contractors’ Association, Associated General Contractors of California, and Building Industry Association. They also serve as arbitrators and mediators in American Arbitration Association proceedings, including on the Large Complex Case Construction Panel; mediators for the Los Angeles Superior Court; arbitrators in California State Contract Act Public Works Contract Arbitrations; and on dispute review boards.
